Single Sign-On (MFA)
The University’s Single Sign-On (SSO) service means that you can use the same account details to log on to many different services as long as you have an account on that service. Facilities are available for users and ITSS to manage accounts. Your SSO account comprises:
- An Oxford username, which is given to you when you join
- An SSO password, which you choose yourself
- An additional factor
Multi-factor authentication provides an extra level of assurance that confidential or sensitive information assets are protected from password sharing, phishing or cracking.
The stage in the service lifecycle at which the service currently resides. Lifecycle = planned, new, live, notice, closed
