Virtual learning environment - new (Canvas)

Canvas by Instructure is a cloud-based VLE platform that will replace WebLearn for teaching and learning purposes only. It is used by academics to support, explore and extend their teaching practices, helping to enhance the student experience. Canvas supports the University’s specialised applications including Panopto (Replay), ORLO (Oxford Reading Lists Online), Cabinet and Turnitin, the plagiarism awareness tool. Application support for Canvas is provided by Instructure. Support for non-Canvas issues including the specialised applications listed above is via the University IT Service Desk.
